The first qualifier for the 2010 Danish Championship has reached the playoffs, just four teams remain.

Wednesday featured the group stage in the first qualifier for the 2010 Danish Championship. Eight teams were cut down to four, who on Thursday will enter the playoffs.

In Group A, things went as expected; mTw claimed first and Ab Ovo finished second. Over in Group B, things went fairly unexpected. Ravens went to lose all of their matches, while the mix with Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen and the former Ravens member Christian "turkizh" Bindslev only managed third spot after a controversial default loss against dakarma. To advance in top spot was dakarma, followed by Vulkan Klan in second.

The playoffs will be played best-of-three maps in a double-elimination bracket. When there are two teams left, the qualifier will end, as the two teams for the Danish Championship then has been found. Matchups for the first round are as follows:

There will furthermore be a second qualifier for the 2010 Danish Championship, which will be hosted by SLAP, still on dates not announced.
